What CBD Isolate Dosage Should I Take?

So, maybe you’ve been using CBD for a while, and you want to try this CBD isolate you’ve been hearing so much about, but you’ve heard it’s much stronger. What is the correct dosage for CBD isolate?

As always, we’re here to try and answer this question for you and make the subject as simple as possible.

As you are probably aware, there is a lot of conflicting information available out there when it comes to CBD products in general. That’s why we bring unbiased, fact-based information to try and counteract that, and help you find the truth in the middle of all the contradictory opinions and articles there are out there.

So, without any further preamble, let’s dive into the ins and outs of CBD isolate, and more specifically, CBD isolate dosage.

What is CBD Isolate?

Before we get into the finer details, let’s kick off with the basics, what exactly is CBD isolate?

CBD isolate is something that causes some regular CBD users to be slightly nervous, partly because it is known as the most potent form of CBD, and secondly becomes it comes as a white powder, which has its own connotations.

The difference between CBD isolate and other CBD products is that CBD isolate contains only CBD, it has a 99%+ pure CBD content (we said CBD a lot in this sentence).

Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing is entirely up to you, but all other substances found in the hemp plant, such as chlorophyll and oils and waxes, are removed from CBD isolate, hence why it’s called isolate.

Some swear by what is known as full-spectrum CBD, which means products that keep more of the plant. These CBD products tend to have trace amounts of THC as well as other substances like those mentioned above.

Then you get the purists, though who believe that CBD and nothing else is the best way to go. The truth is, both parties are probably right to a certain degree.

Everybody reacts differently to CBD, so CBD isolate might be the perfect choice for one person, whereas a light strength CBD oil, containing maybe 5% CBD, may be preferred by the next person.

What’s the Difference?

Again, the differences between CBD isolate and full-spectrum CBD can change from person to person. Many describe CBD isolate as having a more one-dimensional effect, claiming specific properties, such as pain relief.

We are not saying this is or isn’t true, research is still being carried out on the possible health benefits of CBD, but there is anecdotal evidence to suggest that whatever benefits may or may not exist, are not as wide-ranging with CBD isolate

Picking the Right CBD Isolate Dosage

Right, let’s get onto the reason for this article, CBD isolate dosage.

As with all other CBD products, the sensible choice here is to start low, and build up if it feels necessary.

Unlike THC, there is little to no evidence to suggest that tolerance to CBD builds up over time, so when you find the right dose for you, stick with it.

Testing your tolerance levels is not advised, and will have no benefit. If the low dose you start with feels like enough, stop there.

If you feel you need to step it up a little, do so, and continue raising your dose a little until you find the right dosage for you.

The right way to start may well be by micro-dosing, as in using a very little amount of CBD isolate a few times a day.

If you do not feel an impact immediately, don’t raise your dose too fast. Remember that CBD, unlike THC, is not psychoactive, meaning it will not cause the high that THC based marijuana products will.

As a result, the effects of CBD are not always as noticeable straight away. If you’re expecting a sudden impact like you may have with THC, you will not find it here.

Instead, microdose for a small amount of time, and see if it starts to make a difference to how you feel.

If you have been using a small dose for a few days and notice no effects at all, then it may be time to increase your dose a little.

Remember, as soon as you get to the point where you feel that the amount of CBD isolate you are using is enough, stick there.

CBD isolate dosage will differ from person to person, so if you need less or more than someone you know, don’t panic, that’s completely normal.
