Plant&Hemp is embarking on its next great adventure to breathe more beauty and life into the creative communities of Europe using Hemp as it’s catalyst. We call it We Breath Art
Every month across Lisbon, Portugal and the European Union our new movement is commissioning great underground creatives to be inspired by the world of cannabis with the intent of making the world more beautiful through art.
With the intention of finding and promoting the underground art scene, we have an on going call for artists, you can be the next artist.
For the months of April and May we have kicked off our collaborations with two of Lisbon’s most incredible underground street artists. For April, and our first collaboration, we worked with C’Marie x Egrito: an artistic duo working together since 2014 as the multidisciplinary collective Dubio. Their artwork is the resulting fusion of different types of languages – faces, expression, and gestures in parallel with the exploration of signs and forms. Producing our first work, the entire team had an incredible day in the magical venue GreenHouse Hello Park, in Monsanto, Lisbon, where inspiration was connected to the campaign objectives. It was truly a big moment for us after months of having this vision and we were honoured to have Dubio kick things off.
Visual Arts meets Hemp, Cannabis and CBD
Our visual art campaigns are a multidisciplinary expression of art. The first stage of the campaign is the painting of a mural (something that went incredibly with our first mural with Dubio). Once the work has been completed the collaborating artist is asked to produce two different digital versions of their work. One which decorates the front of our products (world-first hemp plastic jars, buys our products here) and a second one which is printed onto a limited edition run of signed prints of the works (get your limited edition print here).

The idea? The art work produced by artists starts its career making our packaging look amazing, but then through the intrigue and excitement created during the campaign our audience are then lead to our online platform to later support the artists via a limited edition print of the artists work. P&H donates 100% of the revenue from the selling of the mural to campaign collaborators so for us it really is a exercise in practising a wider philosophy that has keep us going through months of insane amount of hard work and hard times.
Now we are on the hunt for more creative talent, more amazing artists, and more cosmic explorers to help us complete their mission to bring about a cultural renaissance through the legalisation of Cannabis, if you know someone who would fit the next edition, share this link with him.
