Which is the Best CBD Oil for Dogs?

Which CBD Oil is Best for Dogs? CBD oil for dogs? It sounds ridiculous, right? Well, actually, not really. In fact, there are many pet owners who swear by CBD oil for their dogs, claiming that it helps them relax, and offers pain relief.

Now, we are not in allowed, by UK law, to state whether or not these benefits are based in fact, or whether they are just hearsay, but we can tell you that there is a lot of anecdotal evidence and scientific research that has been carried out, and a little bit of time on Google can be very enlightening.

So, if you are considering using CBD products for your pets, then you may have a simple question, which CBD oil is best for dogs?

Well, allow us to tackle this question for you.

Is CBD Safe for Dogs?

Before getting into which CBD oil to use on your dog, let’s first tackle the question of if you should give CBD oil to your dog.

Is CBD oil safe for dogs? Well, yes, in fact, CBD is as safe for dogs as it is for humans, and it works in much the same way.

In humans, CBD interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system, and there has been a fair amount of research carried out on exactly how it does.

You may, therefore, be very aware of the relationship between phytocannabinoids (cannabinoids derived from plants) and the human endocannabinoid system.

What you may not know, however, is that all animals have an endocannabinoid system, not just humans.

The Endocannabinoid System

The Endocannabinoid system is a system within the body that provides balance to the body and brain, it is partly responsible for many functions of the body, such as fertility, memory, and pain relief.

It is for this reason that many believe that CBD can have a positive effect on humans, and for the same reasons, that people believe that CBD can have a positive effect on dogs.

As stated above, we can’t tell you whether or not it does, we are simply here to provide the information to help you make your own decision.

Which CBD Oil is Best for Dogs?

So, if you have decided to try CBD for your dog, what is the best CBD oil to use?

This is not a question with a simple answer, because as all humans are different, so too are all dogs. Different dogs will react differently to CBD, and to different CBD products.

We suggest starting as you would yourself, with something light in strength, to see how your dog responds.

Instead of going straight for oils, why not start with some treats? Your dog may respond better to something they know, and all dogs know treats!

If your dog responds well, and you think that CBD oils may be beneficial to your furry friend, then you can step up to the oils, and there’s a fair few to start from.

You could begin with this Coconut CBD Oil, which is a nice starting point (if it goes well, there’s a bigger version here, which is better value in the long-term).

Alternatively, if you want something a little stronger, you could try this tincture, which has a CBD strength of 1%.

The product you choose is entirely down to you and your dog, there’s no shame in not getting it right the first time, it might take trying a few different products until you find the right one.

You never know, oils might not be the right way at all, or maybe a combination of methods will work best. If the combination idea seems like the right one, check out this Wellness Bundle, which has a variety of CBD products for your pet.

In the same way that no singular CBD oil or CBD product is right for all humans, no product is right for all dogs either. If there was one CBD oil that was the perfect choice for all dogs, it’s the only one we’d tell you about (and the only one we’d sell!)

As it is, there’s no one-stop shop when it comes to CBD products. In the same way that you would let your body decide on the right product for you, you will have to let your best friend decide what the best option is for them.

When you find the right one, you’ll know, because your dog will be sure to tell you!

Have you tried any of the above products with your dog? How did it work out? Be sure to let us know in the comments.
