Oral CBD – How Does it Work?

Oral CBD? In this article, we will break down the different ways to consume CBD orally and try and help you decide on what method is the most suitable for you.

As always, we are not here to tell you what to do. You will react to CBD differently to the next person, so what works for them may not work for you.

All we are trying to do here is give you as much information as we can, to aid you in making an informed decision.

CBD Oral Dosage

Before we get into the options available, we’ll take a second to discuss the right dosage to take, and how to know.

As mentioned above, people don’t respond to CBD the same way, so until you are aware of the right dose for you, start gentle, and move up slowly.

Once you reach the optimum dosage for you, stay there. As far as anyone is aware at this point, tolerance does not build up with CBD, so you should be able to stick with your chosen dose long term.

CBD Oils and Capsules

Perhaps the best-known form of CBD, CBD oils are all the rage right now. While there are many ways to take CBD oil, orally is seen as the best choice for those who are just starting out on their CBD journey.

The easiest way to take CBD orally is to use capsules.

Capsules are a good way to take a specific amount of CBD while avoiding the taste, if the flavour is not for you. The capsules are slow-release, so the CBD will ingest gradually over a period of time, which is comforting for many.

CBD Tinctures

Tinctures are a different form of CBD to take orally, they can often be higher in CBD content. Tinctures are made by steeping CBD in alcohol and then heating over a long period.

While these products are used by humans, tinctures are often most popular with those who use CBD products on their pets.

Tinctures are an easy way to give CBD to your pet, if you are that way inclined, without many of the problems that normally come from trying to feed your pet something it doesn’t want to eat!

CBD Oral Edibles

If capsules and tinctures feel a little too extreme for you, then there is another way to take CBD orally, edibles.

CBD edibles come in a variety of forms, from superfood supplements to sweeter solutions, we have a host of different CBD edibles available, to ensure there’s something to suit all tastes.

CBD edibles can either be added to food or protein shakes (in the case of powders) or eaten like normal sweets (when they’re gummies) and either way, it is a tasty, easy, and less medical feeling way to consume CBD.

Which Way is Best?

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again, if one product was better than all the rest, it’d be the only one we sold.

The question is, which option is best for you? This is, obviously, very much a matter of choice, if you read through this article, and one form jumped out at you as the best option for your personal preferences, then why not try it?

Be sure to let us know what you think, and, as always, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us to discuss any questions you may have, whether it be about oral CBD methods, or anything else CBD related.
